They do look cute, and should do reasonable well. (Sorry these look like another produce but with squished head. Even more since I see it stands on 2 feet instead Ballet Hello Kitty small first photo. I'm dropping that now...) I also don't see these doing well past your A list Indie character (Sorry Wraith and Rift) Which also really depends on the end user price point. Do you have a ball park figure on it?
The mock ups look okay. They will do well depending again on the medium you eventually use (thickness of the vinyl) and providing you don't go too much in articulation on a simple product. 10 points may be too much.
But....... (I seriously think people don't check anything)
I agree with AoiJuuni that they need other parts particularly Sushi Pack.
The whole point to My pet Monster was as soon as you put on his orange cuffs on he turns into a cute plush toy. You can just paint the cuffs on the need to be removable. You don't include them you don't know the product. (It's like making a Indiana Jones Figure and not giving him a whip)
I know nothing on Sushi Pack apart from what I recently looked up. I am clearly not a fan but know the blue one has 8 appendages this is a big mistake in the mockup. I kind of like the look but don't know the product, a Sushi Pack fan will point out all the mistakes these have. They are Bright Anime looking character's and that appeals to me for that reason.
And finally Madballs. Admittedly these will probably go over the best with the vinyl crowd because of the look. I like the look just they aint Mad BALLS, it's like trying to convert hotwheels or Littlest Petshop into this medium. It just don't work and calling them Madballs because it's not a ball. It's like a cross licence gone wrong. (Like Optimash Prime? or a plush Pez Despencer?) The one thought I could come up with which if fairly much a moot point because of the head design because it not close to being a ball. Is make the head totally detachable ie then you have a ball. Maybe even make it spring loaded/boddy a launcher. Definitely make the head out of a squishy plastic (It's a ball someone will want to throw it) and the body out of the harder plastic maybe. Although at a hunch the licensing agreement you have with American Greeting fairly much nixes it. (Just action figures right?)
(My I am cranky, so just take my rant as constructive feedback. I actually do like them and am interested in the progression.)
