What do you guys think about Plushie Mallows if they were washable and came with 4 washable markers? Or people older then 10yrs could use permenent markers (Non Smelling Ones lol) to decorate them into art designs?

Ahhhhh!!! No.
Mallows are niche enough without going the Plush route!
(Your going to do Licensed one as well I take?)

Has nothing to do with niche we are building a brand. This was suggested we tried a few samples at a plush compay and like what the end product resulted in.

Not really my thing.
Hasn't this fad passed? I guess it looks okay but I think it's too soon to attempt to bring this fad back. Maybe in 10 years or so it will come back around?

We are not doing this for the Designer figure fad that was beat to death. We have an offer on the table from a large plush company and this is more for kids then artists. Again just building the brand as we don't always have to make toys for adults lol.

I didn't really consider the fad to be for artists. I thought it was kids that were into it.
Mine were anyway.
Anyway, you asked for opinions, and I gave one, but it sounds like you're going ahead regardless so no further input from me is required.

The designer fad was started by adult artists but spread to kids but I think it was hard to keep a middle ground. Our Mallows are branding through the shape and into licensed products as well as plush and other media forms. We are growing our brands which include adult collectibles and kids toys. As for oinions we respect yours we just were saying that we are approaching this from a different angle then the ole' kid robot and every other DIY/art toy company.
